The Madison Lacrosse Club Fall Ball. Concentrating on building the fundamentals of new and returning players.
Cost:
- USA LAX Membership, $35 (Must be valid through 15 Nov 24).
- MLC fee $80 until 1 Sep at 11:59 pm. 2 Sep, it goes to $100. Multiple player family discount of $60 until 1 Sep at 11:59 PM and $75 after. Our fee is also available with a $20 down payment and 2 equal monthly installments of the remainder during sign up.
Sessions:
Sundays. 8 Sep - 3 Nov. No session on 29 Sep for Fall Break.
Tentative schedule:
- Girls 10U 1:00 pm
- Girls 12U 2:00 pm
- Boys 6U/8U 3:00 pm
- Boys 10U 4:00 pm
- Boys 12U 5:00 pm
- Boys 14U 6:00 pm
- Coaches may also have an optional practice during the week.

All age groups will be in full equipment by the end of the fall sessions. Rental gear is available for first come first serve. The rental gear email will go out on 2 Sep to registered players. We have attached the requirements for girsl and boys. If you are new to lacrosse, we can help you through it all. When we play at NOW Soccer,
NO CLEATS PLEASE. Tennis shoes or turf shoes only.

All players must where a mouthguard.
- Boys:

- They will be in full pads some of the time.
- Legal Crosse.
- Shoulder pads-Please make sure the shoulder pads are 2022 NOCSAE compliant. It will say it on the pads somewhere. It is normally on the underside. Some brick and mortar retailers and second hand market places are not distinguishing between the old illegal pads and the new approved pads. Online retailers will say it. If there is any question, please feel free to reach out with questions.
- Girls:
Detailed equipment requirments can be found here.
- Up to 4th grade:
- Girls can use the same stick and pocket as the boys of the same age. They do not have to, but they can. The pocket of a boys stick is deeper than the girls and of different deminsions. It can be easier to learn with this pocket than going straight to the girls legal pocket.
- Goggles will also be required.
- 5th grade and older:
- For the stick, USA Lacrosse provides a list of approved sticks on its website.
- Goggle will also be required.
